I found Robert Adams work to be absolutely beautiful. I'm a huge advocate for environmentalism, and the protection of forests and wildlife, so seeing his work really touch a string with me. I found his method of balancing nature with civilization to be extremely captivating. His photo of Boulder City inside of the dark tree "bowl," was extremely symbolic to me of how important nature is for us, even though many people do not understand it's importance.
Another photo of his that I found very intriguing was the photo of the huge tree stump with the beer can on it. That image epitomizes how disrespectful civilizations can be towards nature. It is a sign that future generations need to learn from the mistakes of parents, grandparents, and ancestors, and learn how to find a greater balance between nature and the "advancement" of our society.
