An-My Le Blog

I found An-My Le's work to be very awe-inspiring. Her use of landscapes really put a perspective on how insignificant we are in nature. My favorite photo from the film is the photo of the military tanks driving along the bottom of a group of mountain ridges. In the photo, you can see these huge advanced technology tanks look like small play toys among the mountains. For me, this really put in perspective that, as An-My says, no matter how big or how advanced we build our military equipment, or other equipment, we still are small and insignificant compared to the big picture.
